Learning Through Zoom

I have become an authority on Zoom learning. At first, it was wonderful, because I had less homework. I was excited that I can wake up later, because I don’t have to waste an hour commuting to school during rush hour. However, months pass by, I began to realize the disadvantages of online learning. It is very difficult for us to get the teacher’s attention especially when the teacher is sharing their screen. Class quality varied, because some teachers are better at using computers and some are not as good as using Zoom. The quality of my education is contingent on my unstable internet connection. My eyesight got worse, staring at the computer for 8 hours during class and 3 to 4 more hours for doing homework. I missed meeting different groups of friends in the hallways and sharing lunch in the canteen. Social interations are just as important as academic learning.
